All is well
Jane called me back and the check is in the mail. Oh yeah, and she flagged my address so I won't receive any more bills that aren't mine...so I won't pay them. What a sweatheart. I hope everyone at Fairview Clinic's customer service department has enjoyed a good laugh over my boneheadedness. I'm sure they have. I gave them permission to do so. Not that they need it.

That is probably the best story I have ever heard... Reading stories like that in magazines and on funny shows is one thing, but actually knowing the person behind the story gives it a while new meaning! And a whole new level of hysterical laughter!
