This is my kind of Sunday
Right now I'm watching the MN Vikings lose to the Tampa Bay Bucs. I'm pulling for the horned ones. It's only appropriate since I live in Minneapolis, but unlike some of my friends here, I won't lose any sleep if the end up losing this game. Now if my beloved Eagles lose tomorrow night, I may toss and turn a little.
Not completely off the subject, did you know that real Vikings did not wear horned helmets? It's true. The horned helmet was added for dramatic effect in operas/plays much later in European history. And thus you have been introduced to the "Phil Fun Fact" or as some of my college buddies affectionately call "PF2" (I don't know how to make the "squared" 2 in html). Not to worry, PF2's will be a main stay of my blog. I know you're all looking forward to the tasty tidbits of useless info/trivia. Stay tuned.
