History

Earlier today I read my friend Doug's blog (see Friends list), and he and his daughter recently had a discussion about how our current time in history will be viewed by our descendants. It got me thinking about when I was a teenager. I remember talking to my dad about what it was like for him growing up in the 60's & 70's. Talk about crazy days - protests of an unpopular war, massive natural disasters, deep political divisions, profound social change, high oil prices, etc. Funny, huh? I guess the old cliche` is true - the more things change, the more they stay the same.
